Ghulam Haider Wyne

He was born 1940 in Amritsar (Indian Punjab) was a well-known politician of Pakistan. His family migrated from India to Pakistan in 1947 after the independence. He was the founder and very first chairman of Nazaria - i - Pakistan Trust (NPT) which he established in July 1992. He set up over 18 educational institutions in tehsil Mian Channu of district Khanewal. He was the Leader of the Opposition (Pakistan) and former chief minister of Pakistan most populous province Punjab. He held chief minister position from 1990 to 1993. He was brutally murdered near Mian Channu while doing the rounds of his election campaign in 1993.
