Bahawalpur: Recounting ordered in NA-192

Bahawalpur- Election tribunal ordered recounting of votes in National Assembly constituency NA-192 Bahawalpur today. Makhdoom Ahmad Alam Anwar of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) had filed an election petition in the tribunal against the irregularities in the general elections on May 11, 2014. Anwar had lost to Khwaja Ghulam Rasool Koreja of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) by 1250 votes. Announcing the verdict of the petition, election tribunal ordered recounting of the votes in the constituency.
