Punjab win against Delhi by 4 wickets

DELHI: Punjab chased 164 successfully to win against Delhi at the Feroz Shah Kotla Ground on Monday. Punjab won the toss and put Delhi into bat. Delhi were able to muster a competitive total of 164 through a fine 64 by KD.Karthik off just 44 balls with 7x4s and 3x6s. Skipper K.Pietersen also got 49 with 6x4s and a six. Sandeep Sharma and BE.Hendricks bowled well for Punjab to get 3 wickets a piece. In reply Punjab got to the required target with only 2 balls to spare. Punjab got off to a good start with Sehwag (23) and M.Vohra (42) scoring 67 for the 1st wicket. Maxwell and Miller could not deliver on this occasion and it was left to AR Patel (42) to take Punjab home. Imran Tahir was the pick of the Delhi bowlers with 3/22. JP Duminy also got 2/27.
