UFONE Starts 3G Service in Multan

Ufone has extended circle of its Free 3G trial services to southern Punjab city of Multan after giving an applause able service in major cities. After awarding of 3G licenses, Ufone has launched 3G services on commercial basis in some of the cities like Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Karachi and launched package and tariffs for both prepaid and postpaid customers. But at the same time it took out time to launch its 3G services on trial basis for its user base in Multan. Earlier on Multan was provided 3g services from Mobilink but now with Ufone’s seamless and non-exclusive 3G services, city of Saints will also enjoy faster internet speeds. To enjoy the service, the customers simply need to switch their networks from 2G to 3G or from GSM to WCDMA, after which they will be able to experience ultra- fast speeds for the first 200 mb’s, whereas a reduction in speed would be experienced up to 128kbps after that, to facilitate all customers, which will be notified to the customer via an SMS.
