Microsoft to Discuss Windows 10 Consumer Features in January

Microsoft is planning to unveil the consumer features of its highly anticipated Windows 10 at an event in January. The company will held a standalone presser in late January to disclose the consumer preview, according to The Verge. Microsoft earlier promised to discuss on consumer features and said that it could be done in early 2015 which is confirmation of the promise that company made earlier. The last unveiling event of Windows 10 was organized at smaller level in San Francisco but the consumer features disclosing event will be detailed because the company is supposed to discuss so many things about the latest features. Microsoft earlier demonstrated a feature called Continuum, which is designed to make it easy for users to switch between touch interfaces and non-touch environments. So its more like that its discussion will be the key focus for the company. The software will run on diverse range of devices, not only on PCs and smartphones but on the Xbox game consoles and Microsoft will also give details how the integration of all platforms will be executed. The surprising thing for most the Windows lovers is that the company itself is saying that the Start button shall be brought back in the newest version. Not to mention, the company has decided to update its Windows 8 phones with the latest version of operating system, Windows 10 upon its arrival. Microsoft has confirmed this news through a tweet on the official Lumia Twitter account.
