The heavy acquisition deals from the tech giants may ended up as a result of brilliant strategy, but it looks like that the companies which were once considered to be highly innovative, now depend on purchasing the expertise of the small enterprises, thus are lacking the innovation in technology these days. Experts are saying that these companies have become highly established and heading towards a saturation state. So buying extremely innovative small companies is the only option for them through which they can sustain in a highly competitive environment. Following persistent approach, social media giants continued to glorify existing platforms like interface, layout etc. Apart from some policy up gradations, we haven’t witnessed the groundbreaking developments in 2014. So in 2015, we don’t either expect the revolutionary ideas from the social media sites as we are anticipating the same trend. 2015 thus will potentially be highly lucrative in terms of value for the developers and for the young entrepreneurs as their expertise and skills will most likely to be purchased by the big tech giants.
