International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is currently at its peak where tech companies all around the globe are showing up jaw-dropping gadgets. The two hot topics has been the Internet of Things and the charming smartwatches!! And tech journalists especially covered these two tech domains the most throughout the event.
Last year the companies escalated the trend to plunge into smartwatches and wearable devices and that craze sparked big time initially but small hitches in those wearables such as feeble battery and poor connectivity halted these wearables’ popularity to reach to the next level.
But in 2015, companies have come back and they’ve come back strongly in CES and are displaying the devices with wide range of features. What amazes us the most is some new non tech players are also unveiling these devices.
Let’s have a look which smartwatches have so far been released by consumer companies all over the globe.

LG Audi Smartwatch; Meant for in-car control system:
This is said to be the most resourceful smartwatch of CES 2015 and comes up with startling features. It works as a prototype for the Audi but still LG factor adds extra flavor into it. There’s an Audi button which allows the user to control various parts of paired vehicle. Besides vehicle connectivity, it will have a smartphone connectivity as well but the astonishing thing here is that despite being LG watch, it will not run on Android rather is using open WebOS in it.
The top most button brings up a settings wheel showing cellular signal strength, battery percentage and other details in the center, with settings toggles on the outside.LG Audi
Guess; Send voice commands to issue calls:
First by tech giants, then by sports companies and now by the fashion companies, smartwatches are being owned by every brand out there. And seriously nobody was hoping a fashion brand like Guess to dive into electronic generally and specifically wearable fad.
It will run on Android and iOS and there is a notification panel at the bottom of the face. It is having a mic and a speaker that means user will be able to use watch to direct voice commands and practice calls. Thanks to partnership with Martian Watches.
