Windows Phone 8.1 to be released officially on 24th June

Microsoft is going to officially release Windows Phone 8.1 on 24th June for all the compatible phones that use this mobile OS. Latest version of Windows Phone was unveiled last month at the launch of Nokia Lumia 930 during BUILD conference. It was time that Microsoft introduces reformed version of its mobile OS when the most popularly used Android OS was also launching its next installment in the form of Android 4.4 KitKat. This system update will help Windows Phone users to get new features on their smartphones, the most exciting one being the speech recognition assistance service. This latest mobile OS will be carrying 36 months of guaranteed software support along with refreshed support for every major launch of overhaul in system software. Microsoft has made clear that this launch and availability of upgrade will be dependent upon country, region and hardware capabilities of a user,s phone. It has also been announced that the mainstream support for this mobile OS will end by 2017.
