Upcoming version of VLC to get Chromecast support

VideoLAN developers are going to add Chromecast feature in the upcoming VLC version 3.0. After this update, VLC will be able to stream videos from Desktop or Android to the big screen Television.vlc Chromecast device by Google is now available only in $35. It is the cheapest product as compared to other streamers like Apple TV, Amazon fire etc which are quite expensive ones. And probably this is the reason why Chromecast users are increasing day by day. Therefore, looking at the growing number of users, VLC is obliged to provide Chromecast support. VLC is one of the famous media players. It supports a wide range of multimedia file formats and you can throw nearly any media file on it for smooth play.However, it lacks several features that other media players provides and Chromecast module was one of them. Developers are adding features to overcome the lags of VLC media player and probably the new VLC version 3.0 will provide more exciting experience to its users. Now the question arises, which one from Android and iOS will be getting this update first in the VLC? There is no confirmed answer to this question by now but as we know that iOS always tastes the latest update before Android therefore it is expected that this time again VLC version 3.0 will be in iOS phones earlier than Android.
