PITB,s helpline to monitor petrol prices proving useful for citizens

With the reduction in prices of petroleum products throughout the global market, the citizens of Pakistan breathe a sigh of relief. However, this joy was of temporal time as the petrol crisis appeared on the scene and, therefore, the wicked distributors started to exploit the masses by overcharging. Therefore, Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) took the notice of the issue and added it to the Zimmedar Shehri helpline so that the citizens could register complaints against petrol pumps owners for overpricing and officially reduced petrol prices could be ensured. petrol As a result of this helpline, around 6000 complaints were registered and these were resolved to a greater extent by the district governments, which is certainly appreciable. Apart from petrol issue, the citizens can register complaints regarding any of the concerns they face around by using the helpline of Zimmedar Shehri 0800-02345 which is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Zimmedar Shehri aims to empower the citizens to raise their voice against the wrong and as soon as the complaint gets registered, it immediately updated to the system and being forward to the concerned authorities to resolve but during this all process, the name of Zimmedar shehri is kept confidential.
