1. Ameego by Qmobile According to some most recent news, Qmobile is now planning to introduce its own UI layer on Android operating system in the upcoming year 2015. The name in consideration the UI is ‘Ameego’ and as per company’s official its user interface will be more or less similar to that of Huawei’s Emotion, Oppo’s Colors and HTC’s Sense. For every Android smartphone, there is a layer of handset manufacturer in the form of user interface to interact with users. Qmobile was formerly lagging this feature and finally it is coming up with its possession of user interface. Not only this, after fixing/setting popularity flags and successful sales in Pakistan, Qmobile is planning to penetrate in the markets of Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Africa as well. Additionally, Qmobile is currently in a process to sign agreements with some Chinese handset manufacturers in order to start their own R&D facility which is currently unavailable unlike some branded smartphone companies, who provide this facility to its users. Qmobile is about to get a concrete platform by making this facility available against other R&D based global Chinese brands like Huawei and Lenovo. Some reports are also surfacing that Qmobile is already working on its own app store on top. The entire work is in its early stage and it is difficult to predict how helpful it would be for the company to fight its growing rivals. Windows 10 by Microsoft: Microsoft is launching a highly upgraded operating system Windows 10 in 2015 and skipping the past version Windows 9. Taking into account the flaws and criticism of Windows 8, the shortly approaching Windows 10 addresses numerous usability issues, updating the Metro interface and bringing back the customary Start Menu. Users will be able to switch between multiple desktop screens for an orderly workspace. The OS features improved compatibility and simpler transfer of data between various devices and services. Microsoft has laid greater focus on apps of Windows 10 which has advanced gesture recognition as well. It also handles power management issues and initially identified as “Threshold”, will be releasing in the second half of 2015, according to reports. Android M by Google: It is still unknown either Android M will be simply a point upgrade or Android 6.0. Since Android Lollipop is now out which can only mean one thing that Android M is in the works. The final version of Android M is anticipated to release at the end of October or early November 2015. No concrete details are available on what new features will appear in Android M, but it can be said that the new OS will include Google Fit and Google Now integration, an extreme power-saving mode as standard, a proper messaging hub, improved performance, better syncing of notifications across devices, improved parental controls, more gestures and enterprise features.
