Shah Jehan Masjid near Thatta........!!!

Shah Jehan Masjid near Thatta was built in the reign of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1664 and has been on the tentative UNESCO World Heritage list since 1993. The masjid is built with red bricks with blue coloured glaze tiles probably imported from the Sindhi town of Hala. The masjid has over 100 domes, the most of it's kind in the world. It has been built keeping acoustics in mind - a person speaking inside one end of the dome can be heard at the other end.
