Job Opportunity at Nestlé Pakistan – Kabirwala Factory Position: Team Leader Operations (Warehousing & Distribution) Location: Kabirwala Factory Job Type: Full-time Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering Experience: Minimum 2 years in Distribution or Raw & Packaging (R&P) Warehousing Operations within a Supply Chain environment ________________________________________ About the Role Nestlé Pakistan is seeking a dynamic and motivated Team Leader Operations to oversee the efficient functioning of inbound and outbound operations at our Kabirwala Factory's Distribution Center and R&P Warehousing Unit. This role demands a hands-on leader with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage day-to-day operational activities while driving performance and compliance. ________________________________________ Your Day at Nestlé – What to Expect As a Team Leader Operations, you will: • ✅ Optimize workforce and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) utilization during each shift. • ✅ Coordinate with transport partners to ensure smooth vehicle availability and avoid delays. • ✅ Enforce FEFO principles and status control for effective loading and unloading of R&P materials. • ✅ Guarantee a steady supply of empty pallets to production and resolve shortages proactively. • ✅ Maintain full traceability for R&P materials and finished goods data upon request. • ✅ Ensure operational compliance with SOPs and Good Warehousing Practices. • ✅ Implement Nestlé’s Food Safety Management Systems within warehouse operations. • ⚠️ Uphold safety, health, and environmental protocols across all activities. • ✅ Ensure timely processing of rejected material returns by suppliers. • ✅ Manage documentation, internal/external assessments, and PTW processes. • ✅ Drive energy efficiency and waste reduction initiatives. • ✅ Build strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers under SFSC frameworks. • ✅ Maintain warehouse infrastructure and contribute to building upkeep. • ✅ Organize site visits, audits, and business continuity meetings. ________________________________________ What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate should bring: • ✅ A degree in Engineering or MBA with a minimum of 2 years in supply chain distribution/warehousing. • ✅ Proficiency in SAP (especially MH Modules) and MS Office Suite. • ✅ Strong communication and presentation skills. • ✅ A track record of initiating and executing successful projects. • ✅ Understanding of workplace safety standards and environmental sustainability. • ✅ Creative thinking for automation and digitalization adoption. • ✅ Resilience and composure under pressure. • ✅ A curious mind with a passion for learning and improving. • ✅ The ability to lead diverse, unionized shopfloor teams effectively. ________________________________________ Why Join Nestlé?
