Job Description

Department: Accounts, Finance & Financial Services Industry: Business Development Position Overview FonGrow (Private) Limited is seeking experienced and detail-oriented professionals to join our finance and farm operations team. This role is critical in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting on-ground agricultural operations. Candidates with a background in agriculture and finance will be highly preferred. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain a master template for cash recording, reconciliation, and reporting aligned with existing operational practices. • Ensure accurate daily recording of cash receipts and payments categorized by date, crop, type of labor, labor count, and acreage. • Conduct daily petty cash reconciliation and verify operational payments made at the farm level. • Perform verification of all supporting documents related to cash receipts/payments, ensuring proper approvals. • Work closely with the Cashier and Local Team to manage documentation, hard copy filing, and maintain a proper audit trail. • Maintain a comprehensive record of crop harvesting and dispatch, including date-wise and crop-wise accepted quantity, rates, and by-products. • Ensure accurate inventory tracking of item receipts and issues (date-wise, item-wise, crop-wise). • Use accounting software (such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or local ERP) and demonstrate strong MS Excel proficiency. • Complete any other tasks assigned by line management. • Provide ad hoc reporting to the Head Office as required. ________________________________________ Required Skills • Operations Control • Multitasking and Time Management • Transaction Handling • Financial Statement Management • Corporate Finance • Hands-on Accounting & ERP Software Expertise ________________________________________ Candidate Profile • Education: Master's degree preferred; minimum of a Bachelor’s in Agriculture or Finance • Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial operations o Experience in the agriculture or livestock sector is highly desirable • Gender: No Preference • Career Level: Experienced Professional
