Maintenance Engineer – Nestlé Pakistan

Location: Kabirwala Factory Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Experience: Minimum 2 Years (or DAE with 10+ Years of Relevant Experience) ________________________________________ Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the Kabirwala Factory. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of plant equipment and machinery through effective maintenance planning, timely breakdown response, quality inspections, and budget monitoring. The ideal candidate will contribute to continuous improvement, uphold safety and quality standards, and support capital projects across the facility. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Maintenance and Operations • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and machinery • Perform quality inspections and maintain spare parts inventory at recommended operating levels • Monitor and manage maintenance budgets and cost efficiency Project Involvement and Technical Support • Participate in capital investment and engineering projects, ensuring compliance with corporate and industry standards • Support process upgrades and new equipment installation initiatives Safety, Compliance, and Systems Implementation • Ensure full adherence to safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations • Apply engineering tools such as NSAT, NIMS, and AMM at the site level • Enforce change management processes to manage equipment and process modifications safely Team Development and Supervision • Train operators and maintenance personnel in equipment use and safety protocols • Supervise technical teams, contractors, and external service providers • Track and achieve operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives ________________________________________ Candidate Profile Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or DAE with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and improvement roles • Familiarity with TPM practices, preventive maintenance, and maintenance execution Technical and Soft Skills • Experience in cross-functional engineering projects and production line startups • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities • Ability to manage tasks independently and maintain high-performance standards
