Job Overview

Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) is hiring a Community Facilitator in Khanewal District to support the Aawaz II Program.
This role focuses on community mobilization, behavior change initiatives, and building local leadership capacity. The facilitator will establish and support Village Forums (VFs) and Aawaz Aagahi Centers (AACs), while engaging with stakeholders to promote social cohesion, prevent gender-based violence, and discourage harmful practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify villages and hotspots to form Aawaz II Village Forums (VFs).

• Mobilize communities and coordinate with village forums and resource persons.

• Establish and support Aawaz Aagahi Centers (AACs) for awareness and engagement.

• Conduct awareness sessions on child marriage, gender-based violence, and other social issues.

• Develop referral directories to connect communities with legal, health, and government services.

• Build relationships with marginalized groups, duty bearers, and local stakeholders.

• Facilitate Early Warning Systems (EWS) and Early Response Mechanisms (ERM) at the village level.

• Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate field activity records.

• Ensure safeguarding policies are followed and report any violations immediately.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree.

• Experience: 3–5 years in community mobilization, social work, or development sector.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of referral mechanisms and capacity building techniques.

• Maximum age limit: 45 years.

• Must be a resident of Khanewal District with valid CNIC.

Preferred Qualifications

• Women, minorities, transgender individuals, and differently-abled persons are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Ability to work independently and under deadlines.

• Immediate availability will be preferred.
