Job Overview

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd (MMBL), Pakistan’s leading digital microfinance bank, is hiring a Field Collection & Default Officer for its Mian Channu branch. This role is responsible for managing loan collections, ensuring timely recovery of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs), and supporting the bank’s compliance with SBP’s Fair Debt Collection Guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct timely field visits to delinquent customers and follow a structured recovery schedule.

• Achieve recovery targets for NPLs, charged-off, and written-off portfolios.

• Negotiate effectively with customers to ensure on-time repayments.

• Maintain daily updates on visited accounts for the line manager.

• Deliver recovery letters and notices to defaulting customers within defined timelines.

• Perform regular portfolio reviews and monitor collection metrics.

• Ensure strict compliance with SBP’s guidelines and internal bank policies.

• Address customer complaints during visits or calls and escalate unresolved cases.

• Handle escalated disputes while ensuring ethical and lawful practices.

• Perform any other recovery or compliance tasks assigned by the bank.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in loan recovery and collections.

• Proficiency in MS Office.

• Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage field mobility, and handle pressure.
