Job Overview

This position is ideal for candidates passionate about laboratory analysis, quality control, and biotechnology, and who wish to build a career in food and oil testing laboratories.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and microbiological analysis of crude and refined edible oils.

• Conduct quality control tests such as FFA, Moisture, Peroxide Value, Iodine Value, Phosphorus, and Soap content.

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including Spectrophotometers, Titration Units, and Moisture Balances.

• Ensure compliance with PSQCA, PFA, ISO, and internal quality standards.

• Maintain accurate laboratory records, reports, and logbooks.

• Support research, process optimization, and product development projects.

• Maintain lab hygiene, safety standards, and calibration protocols.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related discipline from a recognized university.

• Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and biochemical assays.

• Hands-on experience in oil or food testing laboratories will be a strong advantage.

• Excellent attention to detail, report writing, and data accuracy.

• Ability to work both independently and in a team-based lab environment.

• Proficiency in MS Office and basic laboratory software tools.
