Job Overview

Zong Business Solutions is seeking an experienced and dynamic Grid Manager to lead sales, revenue growth, channel development, customer experience, and business expansion activities within the assigned grid. The role involves managing KPIs, driving mobile broadband growth, strengthening retailer networks, and ensuring brand visibility across the region.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive revenue through 3G/4G device and SIM sales by expanding smartphone shop networks.

  • Improve retailer quality and ensure efficient channel expansion (SIM Selling, ML, VAS, MNP, MBB, ECATs, Postpaid).

  • Identify high-potential areas within the grid for maximum sales impact.

  • Ensure timely purchase orders by franchise partners to maintain stock availability.

Customer Experience & Service Quality

  • Lead end-to-end complaint management and ensure high customer satisfaction (CSI).

  • Oversee customer experience at franchise level and maintain service quality standards.

Market Visibility & Branding

  • Execute trade marketing and brand visibility activities across the grid.

  • Coordinate BTL campaigns, trade promotions, market splash activities, and channel awareness events.

Territory Planning

  • Identify untapped areas for increased retail penetration.

  • Guide Business Development Officers (BDOs) in planning effective sales routes.

  • Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly sales forecasts for SIMs, scratch cards, mini-load, and recharges.

  • Plan localized sales promotions in low-performance or low-network-utilization areas.

Team Leadership & Channel Management

  • Train and equip staff/retailers with updated product knowledge.

  • Conduct periodic market visits to ensure availability of stock and material across all outlets.

  • Keep channel partners updated on SOPs, targets, promotions, and compliance requirements.

Merchandising & Business Development

  • Ensure the availability of POS material throughout the territory.

  • Coordinate with Marketing and Channel teams for trade promotions, BTL campaigns, and business development activities.


Eligibility Criteria

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred but not mandatory).

Experience

  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in Sales, Distribution, or Telecom Sector.
