Job Overview

PepsiCo is hiring an IR / HR Lead for its Multan operations. The role supports end-to-end HR functions across the plant, covering permanent staff, contractors, apprentices, and daily wagers. You will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, compliance, and workforce engagement.

Relocation: Eligible for limited relocation

Job Status: Regular

Key Responsibilities

  • Support HR operations for all plant employees including recruitment, onboarding, and performance cycles.

  • Manage hiring for Operations teams (Packaging, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, QC, Warehouse).

  • Lead HR processes for 3rd-party employees: talent acquisition, T&D, C&B, performance, and compliance.

  • Run the Apprenticeship Program and career progression framework.

  • Coordinate payroll, overtime, attendance, leaves, and wages with contractors and Time Office.

  • Execute employee engagement activities, townhalls, team talks, and R&R programs.

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation: JD reviews, org charts, employee files, confirmation tracking.

  • Oversee statutory compliance including EOBI, PESSI, GLI, medical/death claims, licenses, etc.

  • Lead workers welfare initiatives (Hajj/Umrah, annual rewards, dinners).

  • Support ER/IR matters including CBA union coordination and biennial agreements.

  • Handle contractor management: contracts, discipline, closures, grievance redressal, HRIS controls.

  • Liaise with Govt. departments on labor laws, licensing, and legal matters.

  • Promote diversity (male/female/disabled workforce).

  • Lead workplace safety, injury reduction, and EHS coordination.

  • Prepare presentations/decks and support leadership in HR needs.

Qualifications

  • MBA (HR/IR/ER preferred).

  • 6–8 years HR experience, ideally in manufacturing.

  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws & human rights policies.

  • Experience managing unionized staff (preferably in MNCs).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and documentation skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential data, multiple tasks, and tight deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills; proactive, detail-oriented, and independent.
