Accounting Specialist – CrewBloom

Job Overview

CrewBloom is hiring an Accounting Specialist to manage financial transactions related to freight operations. The role ensures accurate invoicing, carrier payments, billing audits, reconciliation, and financial reporting within a 3PL environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices based on completed loads.

• Process and review carrier bills, ensuring accurate rates and deductions.

• Reconcile load financials between TMS and accounting systems (QuickBooks).

• Audit billing discrepancies and resolve payment-related disputes.

• Maintain accurate records of expenses, payments, and receivables.

• Coordinate with operations teams to verify load and billing details.

• Track margins and profitability by load, customer, or carrier.

• Support month-end closing and prepare management reports.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or accounting.

• Strong understanding of transportation billing and rate confirmations.

• Experience with TMS systems, QuickBooks, and Excel.

• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work on multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
