AM Accounts – Engro Corporation Limited

Job Purpose:

Oversee the preparation and delivery of standalone and consolidated financial statements of Engro Corporation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare statutory financial reports, ensuring compliance with Accounting Standards and corporate laws.

• Compile reporting deliverables and circulate to the BAC 7 days prior to quarterly meetings.

• Deliver monthly financial dashboards highlighting key outstanding or balance sheet reconciling items within 5 working days of month-end.

• Monitor departmental fixed costs, shared costs, and CAPEX, flagging concerns and recommending corrective actions.

• Lead financial planning and annual Corporate Plan preparation for cost optimization and shared cost rationalization.

• Ensure consistent, timely group-wide financial reporting through SAP and BPC; reconcile subsidiary accounts per agreed timelines.

• Optimize OneSAP processes to improve efficiency in accounting functions.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for timely audit completion.

• Internal: Department budget champions, GM Accounting & Tax, Internal Auditors, Subsidiary Accounting Teams

• External: External Auditors

• Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Financial Management, Budgeting

• Advanced Excel

• Accounting Standards (IFRS & GAAP), Local Compliance & Regulations

• Strong interpersonal skills

Education & Qualifications:

• CA (Finance) or equivalent in Accounting/Finance

Professional Experience:

• 2–5 years post-qualification experience

• Strong understanding of financial statements, controls, and corporate laws

• Experience with Big 4 audit firms preferred
