Job Overview

Allied Bank Limited (ABL) is hiring Branch Managers – Islamic Banking across multiple locations. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership qualities, deep understanding of Islamic banking regulations, and the ability to drive branch growth through deposit mobilization, lending, service quality, and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned business targets within defined deadlines.

  • Grow branch deposits with focus on CASA, deposit mobilization, fee income, and cross-selling initiatives.

  • Identify potential customers for lending, trade finance, and Islamic banking products.

  • Conduct daily performance sessions with BDOs and frontline staff.

  • Analyze branch portfolio, identify stagnant customers, and enhance product penetration.

  • Manage and retain NTB customers while strengthening existing relationships (assets & liabilities).

  • Cross-sell suitable banking products based on customer needs.

  • Ensure high service standards by resolving customer complaints in a timely manner.

  • Maintain branch upkeep to enhance the overall customer experience.

  • Ensure strict compliance with KYC/AML, regulatory requirements, and internal banking policies.

  • Conduct periodic review sessions with branch staff and the Operations Support Team to minimize risks and improve efficiency.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership, team building, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage complex branch operations effectively.

  • Possess strong knowledge of Islamic banking regulations, operations, and product offerings.


Qualification

  • Preferably Master’s degree, or at least a Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.

  • Certification in Islamic Banking (NIBAF) is an added advantage.


Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of banking experience in a relevant role.
