Job Description

Job Purpose

Zong Pakistan is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager Network Analytics, PMO & Compliance to support Regional Engineering Management in overseeing all engineering performance functions.

The role involves end-to-end project management, network data analytics, KPIs reporting, policy/process improvements, and compliance oversight across operational domains such as Energy Management, Security, and Managed Services Operations.

This is a critical, data-driven position requiring strong analytical capability, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Support & Strategy

• Assist Regional Engineering Management in achieving overall regional goals, network KPIs, strategic planning, resource planning, and decision-making.

• Evaluate ongoing and upcoming engineering projects to ensure compliance with company targets and standards.

Network Performance & Data Analytics

• Perform regular network performance analysis, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to improve network quality in the region.

• Create and maintain dashboards, bulletins, and performance visibility tools for internal stakeholders.

• Lead automation of dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools for improved decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with Commercial, Corporate, and Technical teams to solve analytical problems and align engineering activities with business goals.

• Coordinate regularly with HQ departments such as NOMC, NP, NC, and E2E for directives and operational support.

Project Management & Compliance

• Manage regional targets, PMO activities, and drive continuous improvement in processes.

• Support regional FOPs and ensure timely reconciliation of KPIs, payments, and penalties with Managed Services vendors.

• Ensure compliance with audit observations, regulatory requirements, and internal processes.

Energy & Security Management

• Oversee regional electricity operations, including bill reconciliation, faulty meter rectification, and coordination with government departments and DISCOs/NEPRA.

• Manage fuel operations for Core & BTS sites, ensuring achievement of fuel efficiency targets.

• Ensure robust security management in collaboration with MS Security teams.

Reporting & Presentations

• Prepare professional presentations and technical reports for senior leadership (CXO level).

• Support optimization initiatives and special business-critical assignments, including cost control.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Business Analytics

  • Statistics

  • Engineering

  • Computer Science

Work Experience

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience

• At least 5+ years in:

  • Data analysis / data science

  • Telecom network performance management
