About the Role

As an Assistant Manager Channel Capability, you will play a vital role in driving business growth across the region. You will lead product launches, execute trade activities, and build capabilities that strengthen sales and distribution performance. This role is crucial for enabling regional teams to enhance business health and accelerate growth in new and emerging categories.


Your Impactful Goals

  • Lead flawless execution of new category launches and identify high-potential outlet clusters.

  • Explore and develop business opportunities in emerging segments such as Gaming, Travel, Rider, and more.

  • Create region-specific growth plans and propose strategic expansion opportunities.

  • Drive Apollo adoption, compliance, and enhanced feature usage across channel partners.

  • Conduct digital capability-building sessions to improve field efficiency using Apollo tools.

  • Strengthen campaign communication across retail networks through digital and on-ground engagement.

  • Manage regional trade budgets with strict governance and compliance.

  • Boost retail and franchise channel performance through engagement, visibility uplift, and capability-building initiatives.

  • Ensure flawless execution of trade promotions, activities, and market activations.

  • Optimize ROI on trade investments through efficient allocation aligned with business priorities.

  • Collaborate with circle and planning teams for seamless execution of trade, category, and digital initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead regional category launches & identify high-potential outlets.

  • Drive business growth in emerging categories (Gaming, Travel, Rider, etc.).

  • Develop regional expansion plans for new categories.

  • Ensure strong Apollo adoption across the region.

  • Boost Apollo MAU through consistent daily usage.

  • Conduct digital awareness & capability-building sessions.

  • Strengthen communication for retail campaigns both digitally & on-ground.

  • Manage and govern regional trade budgets effectively.

  • Build retail and franchise capability through structured initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Experience: 3–5 years in S&D, Planning, Segments, or Product—preferably in Telecom.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Ability to work under pressure, flexible and self-driven

  • Experience as functional architect or project/sub-project manager

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects

  • Excellent team and stakeholder management

  • Proficiency in Power BI, Advanced MS Office, and reporting tools
