As an Assistant Project Development Manager (APDM) for Building Infrastructure & Utilities, you will be responsible for delivering engineering projects safely, on time, and within budget. The role supports both the Pakistan engineering agenda and wider PTAB Foods initiatives, ensuring smooth project execution and optimal resource management.
Ensure all projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within approved budgets.
Track and monitor yearly cash flows for accurate forecasting.
Coordinate internal teams and external contractors to ensure seamless execution.
Plan and allocate project resources efficiently.
Develop project networks and lead project review meetings with site teams.
Perform Concept Engineering, FEED, and Detailed Engineering activities.
Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and detailed project timelines.
Work with finance teams for asset capitalization and project financial alignment.
Collaborate with global technology and regional design teams for plant/site layouts.
Ensure newly purchased building infrastructure, PEB structures, and utilities equipment meet long-term site sustainability, cost, and safety plans.
Implement construction safety plans and supervise consultants/contractors.
Handle supplier coordination, technical bid evaluations, and procurement planning.
Ensure PRs/POs comply with procurement guidelines and GRNs are posted accurately.
Execute projects with minimum interruption to plant operations.
Apply the EEM 7-step methodology in major projects.
Prepare complete handover documentation for site teams.
Fulfill any additional tasks assigned by the PDM or Factory Engineer.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and common project management tools.
Strong analytical mindset and sound decision-making skills.
Experience managing contractors and suppliers.
Conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
BSc. in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Civil Engineering.
4–7 years of experience in engineering — ideally within FMCG.
