Manager FP&A – Daewoo Pakistan Express

Job Description

Daewoo Pakistan is looking for a dynamic Manager FP&A to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. The role focuses on revenue optimization, cost-control initiatives, business analysis, budgeting, and financial modelling. The ideal candidate will provide meaningful financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and ensure efficient budgetary controls aligned with organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial planning frameworks, including long-term projections, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts aligned with company strategy.

  • Financial Analysis: Perform profitability, trend, and cost-benefit analyses to identify opportunities that improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and revenue optimization.

  • Management Reporting: Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, summarizing key insights and performance indicators.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting processes by coordinating with department heads, analyzing variances, and ensuring accurate projections.

  • Financial Modelling: Build and maintain financial models for investment evaluations, pricing strategies, and scenario planning to support strategic decisions.

  • Performance Measurement: Define and monitor KPIs to track business performance and recommend actionable improvements.

  • Accounting Oversight: Supervise accounting functions including AP, AR, billing, payroll, and general ledger, ensuring smooth operations and strong internal controls.

  • Coordination with Foreign Principals: Manage pricing, warranty matters, billing, and payments with international partners.

  • Bank & Financial Institution Liaison: Maintain relationships with banks, leasing companies, and financial institutions for financing needs, LCs, and contracts.

  • Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Enhance internal controls, recommend process efficiencies, and support implementation of improved budgeting and costing processes.
