Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically competent Deputy Director (Data Center Facility Engineer) to manage and oversee data center infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data center design, operations, and passive infrastructure management, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree (4 Years) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a relevant discipline

• Minimum 16 years of HEC-verified education

• Degree must be attested by HEC

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in data center management and operations

• Proven experience in:

  • Data center design and planning

  • RFP, RFQ, and SLA development

  • Passive infrastructure management

• Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) or equivalent certification will be preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for procurement, installation, and maintenance of passive infrastructure

• Work closely with IT and network teams to support active infrastructure requirements

• Ensure effective power distribution, cooling systems, and overall facility efficiency

• Develop and implement SOPs, policies, and operational guidelines

• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and cooling calculations

• Excellent coordination and vendor management skills

• Ability to work in high-availability environments

• Strong documentation and compliance management skills

Terms & Conditions

1. Initial contract duration is 5 years, extendable based on performance and organizational requirements.

2. Management reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning a reason.

3. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for test/interview.

4. Submission of false or misleading information will result in disqualification.

5. Government/Semi-Government employees must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of application.

6. Age relaxation of 5 years has already been included in the upper age limit.

7. Selected candidates must submit Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.

8. No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview.

9. Attested degrees from HEC or relevant regulatory bodies must be presented at the time of interview.

10. Females, minorities, transgender persons, and differently-abled candidates are encouraged to apply.
