Job Overview

Syngenta Pakistan is seeking a motivated and performance-driven Technical Sales Officer to strengthen its commercial operations in the Ahmad Pur East region. This role focuses on driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with farmers, channel partners, and key stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales targets through structured monthly planning and execution.

  • Maintain accurate monthly forecasting with over 80% forecast accuracy.

  • Drive demand generation through field marketing, demonstrations (FDs), and farmer meetings.

  • Ensure effective liquidation of inventory across channels.

  • Lead, train, and coach Field Officers through regular field engagement and performance follow-ups.

  • Manage channel partners including distributors, sub-dealers, and retailers; onboard new partners in vacant BSAs.

  • Conduct monthly business review meetings and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Monitor competitor activities and provide timely market intelligence.

  • Support New Product Introductions (NPI) through demonstrations and strong product positioning with growers, arhties (middlemen), and channel partners.

  • Execute company campaigns, promotional activities, and sales policies effectively.

  • Optimize resource deployment including territory coverage and field staff allocation.

  • Expand geographic reach through channel development and field-level engagement.

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders such as lead growers, value-chain partners, and government institutions.

  • Track channel inventory, liquidation, and planogram (POG) compliance.

  • Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.

  • Ensure timely order placement and collections to maintain targeted Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (Plant Breeding, Horticulture, Agronomy, Entomology, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, or Extension).

  • 2–4 years of relevant sales or field experience.

  • MBA (Agri) will be considered an added advantage.
