Job Overview

Syngenta Pakistan is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Officer to strengthen its commercial operations in the Minchinabad region. The role focuses on driving sales growth, market development, and strong channel relationships while ensuring effective execution of sales and marketing strategies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales targets with monthly phasing and accurate forecasting (≥80% forecast accuracy).

  • Drive demand generation activities including Field Meetings (FM), Field Demonstrations (FD), and product demos to ensure inventory liquidation.

  • Generate sustainable revenue growth across the assigned territory.

  • Lead, coach, and manage Field Officers through regular training, action planning, and on-field support.

  • Manage channel partners including distributors, dealers, and retailers; conduct monthly business reviews and onboard new partners where required.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide timely market intelligence.

  • Promote New Product Introductions (NPI) through demonstrations and effective engagement with growers, channel partners, and Arhties.

  • Execute sales campaigns, promotional activities, and company sales policies effectively.

  • Optimize resource allocation including field staff deployment and channel expansion.

  • Strengthen geographical presence through strategic field activities.

  • Manage key stakeholders including growers, market committees, value chain partners, and government institutions.

  • Monitor channel inventory, liquidation, and Planogram (POG) compliance.

  • Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.

  • Ensure timely collections and maintain targeted Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (Plant Breeding, Horticulture, Agronomy, Entomology, Soil Sciences, Plant Pathology, or Extension preferred).

  • 2–4 years of relevant sales or field experience.

  • MBA (Agri) will be considered an added advantage.
