Job Overview

Syngenta Pakistan is looking for a motivated and performance-driven Technical Sales Officer to strengthen its commercial operations in Rahimabad. The role focuses on driving sales growth, managing channel partners, executing field activities, and building strong relationships across the agricultural value chain.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales targets with monthly phasing and maintain forecast accuracy above 80%.

  • Drive demand generation through Farmer Meetings (FM), Field Demonstrations (FD), and product demos to ensure inventory liquidation.

  • Execute territory-level strategies to achieve revenue growth.

  • Lead, coach, and manage Field Officers, including planning, field execution, and performance follow-ups.

  • Manage channel partners by setting targets, conducting monthly business reviews, and onboarding new partners where required.

  • Provide timely market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.

  • Develop and promote New Product Introductions (NPI) through demonstrations and strong engagement with growers, arhties, and channel partners.

  • Ensure effective execution of sales campaigns and company policies.

  • Manage resource allocation including field force deployment and territory coverage.

  • Expand business footprint through channel development and geographic expansion.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as growers, distributors, value-chain partners, and government institutions.

  • Monitor channel inventory, liquidation, and planogram (POG) compliance.

  • Handle customer complaints efficiently and ensure timely resolution.

  • Ensure timely collections and maintain targeted Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).


Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (Plant Breeding, Horticulture, Agronomy, Entomology, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, or Extension).

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in agricultural sales or field operations.

  • MBA (Agri-Business) will be an added advantage.
