The Banking Services Manager (BSM) is responsible for overseeing branch operations, ensuring compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and service quality standards. The role focuses on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, staff supervision, and risk control while supporting the Branch Manager in achieving overall branch objectives.
Supervise daily branch operations to ensure full compliance with SBP regulations and bank policies.
Ensure dual control mechanisms, cash security, and confidentiality standards are strictly maintained.
Monitor daily cash balancing, vault management, and system authorizations.
Oversee record keeping, security stationery, and safe custody of sensitive documents and assets.
Ensure timely completion of all operational processes before end-of-day closure.
Lead, guide, and supervise branch operations staff to ensure efficiency and accountability.
Ensure staff punctuality, discipline, dress code compliance, and availability of backups for critical roles.
Nominate staff for training programs in coordination with the Line Manager.
Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and customer-centric service.
Ensure high-quality customer service and timely resolution of customer complaints.
Supervise all financial and non-financial transactions to minimize operational risks.
Monitor and report any suspicious activities or irregularities.
Maintain effective coordination with internal departments for smooth operations.
Coordinate internal, external, and SBP audits and ensure timely compliance of observations.
Prepare and submit MIS reports, confirmations, and operational data as required.
Ensure accurate balancing of suspense, excess, shortage, and prepaid accounts on a monthly basis.
Oversee operations including Deposits, Cash, Clearing, Remittances, Bills, HR, Credits, Recoveries, JazzCash, Borrower & Non-Borrower accounts, and other banking services.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, or related field (MBA preferred, subject to approval).
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant banking experience.
Skills: Strong leadership, compliance knowledge, operational control, and customer management skills.
