The Technical Officer – Instrumentation & Control is responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of plant instrumentation and control systems. This role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, and accurate reporting to support safe and uninterrupted plant operations.
Perform inspection, maintenance, and testing of field instrumentation and control systems.
Conduct daily area visits to supervise maintenance work and contractor activities.
Provide regular updates and reports on ongoing and pending tasks.
Participate in daily cross-functional coordination meetings.
Carry out first-level inspections and report abnormalities with corrective actions.
Prepare work permits and supporting documentation for routine maintenance activities.
Provide trends, alarm logs, and event history to support Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Validate on-site work and maintain accurate records of inspections, calibrations, and technical documentation.
Execute weekly and shutdown maintenance plans while ensuring tools and equipment are safe and operational.
Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards, promote safe work practices, and maintain proper housekeeping.
DAE in Electrical / Electronics
05–07 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control systems
Strong professionalism, dedication, and reliability
Excellent organizational, planning, and coordination skills
Ability to work effectively across departments
Strong commitment to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies
