Relationship Manager – SME – Meezan Bank Limited

Meezan Bank Limited, Pakistan’s premier Islamic bank, is seeking dynamic and result-oriented professionals for the position of Relationship Manager – SME. The role focuses on portfolio growth, relationship management, credit analysis, and ensuring compliance with SBP regulations and Shariah principles.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 16 years of education in Commerce, Banking & Finance, Economics, or related disciplines

• Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university/institute

• ACCA-qualified candidates are also eligible

Experience

• 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in SME relationship management, preferably within the banking sector

Key Responsibilities

• Grow the SME portfolio of the assigned region by onboarding new relationships

• Deepen and manage existing SME client relationships

• Conduct marketing activities and prepare financing proposals

• Coordinate approvals and ensure completion of documentation up to disbursement

• Monitor SME financing relationships to ensure compliance with SBP regulations, bank policies, risk, and yield criteria

• Analyze SME credit proposals submitted by areas and branches

• Monitor utilization of approved financing facilities

• Assess financial health of clients and evaluate industry/segment trends

• Perform detailed financial analysis to determine creditworthiness

• Conduct client visits to assess business operations and prepare visit reports

• Ensure completion of facility and security documentation in line with approvals and Shariah guidelines

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills

• In-depth knowledge of SME industries and SBP prudential regulations

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications

• Strong problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills

• Islamic banking knowledge will be an added advantage
