Assistant Director (Network Engineer – Core Networks) – National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA)

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering, or an equivalent relevant discipline

• Minimum 16 years of HEC-verified education is mandatory

• All degrees must be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC)

Professional Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in core network or related roles

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• Operate, manage, and troubleshoot Core Network Switching systems

• Strong understanding of Software Defined Networking (SDN) and advanced switching technologies

• In-depth knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching

• Hands-on experience in network operations, monitoring, and fault resolution

• Proficient in technical documentation, including SOPs, manuals, and engineering drawings

• Practical experience in switching configuration, deployment, and optimization

• Exposure to H3C Data Center Switching, Huawei SDN, and Cisco ACI architectures

• Strong communication, technical, interpersonal, and networking skills

• Willingness to work in morning and evening shifts, as required

• Appointment will be on a contract basis with a 6-month probation period (extendable if required)
