Assistant Manager Networks – Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd.

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) is seeking a proactive and technically strong Assistant Manager Networks to support and enhance daily network operations. This role is critical in ensuring high availability, security, and performance of the bank’s network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Network Operations Support
  Assist in managing day-to-day network operations to ensure seamless connectivity, uptime, and service reliability.

• Incident Management & Troubleshooting
  Analyze and resolve network and security incidents to meet availability and performance targets, ensuring timely and effective solutions for internal and external stakeholders.

• Project Support
  Contribute to the planning, execution, and monitoring of network and security projects, ensuring alignment with timelines and objectives.

• Monitoring, Reporting & Analysis
  Prepare operational and performance reports, providing insights to optimize network efficiency and improve service quality.

• Inventory & Capacity Management
  Manage network inventory and resources to ensure optimal capacity utilization and operational efficiency.

• Quality & Compliance Assurance
  Ensure all network operations comply with organizational policies, security standards, and industry best practices.

• Stakeholder Communication
  Act as a liaison between technical teams, management, and service providers to ensure clear communication and alignment with business goals.

• Team Support & Development
  Assist in onboarding and training junior team members, supporting continuous skill development and adherence to standards.

• Leadership & Supervision
  Supervise and motivate team members to maintain high levels of performance, productivity, and service excellence.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Security, or a related field

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years in network operations with leadership or supervisory exposure

• Certifications (Preferred): CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent

Technical Skills & Expertise

• FortiGate, Cisco FTD, Sophos Firewall, FortiManager

• Data Center Networking & Network Security

• Site-to-Site IPsec VPN troubleshooting

• UTM features & SD-WAN architecture

• Private Cloud concepts

• ISP coordination for branch connectivity
