Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) is a leading national non-profit organization working in Pakistan’s education sector since 2000. ITA is dedicated to advancing quality education, lifelong learning, and inclusive community development nationwide.
ITA is seeking a motivated and qualified Site Engineer to support infrastructure rehabilitation and construction projects within the education sector. The role focuses on on-site supervision, quality assurance, and effective coordination with contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in:
Infrastructure rehabilitation or construction supervision
Experience with education sector, public sector, or emergency response projects will be considered an asset
Conduct site assessments and supervise daily construction activities
Prepare BOQs, technical reports, and progress documentation
Ensure contractor compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards
Monitor project timelines, material usage, and workmanship quality
Coordinate with school communities, local authorities, and project stakeholders
Promote inclusive, gender-responsive, and disaster-resilient infrastructure practices
Strong technical understanding of civil engineering and construction practices
Proven experience in site supervision, BOQ preparation, and reporting
Effective contractor management and quality assurance skills
Strong communication and coordination abilities
Prior experience with school infrastructure projects is a plus
