Procurement Specialist – Nestlé Pakistan

Job Description

Nestlé Pakistan is seeking a results-driven Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing activities, ensure compliance with competitive bidding policies, and drive cost optimization across assigned spend categories. The role requires strong supplier management, analytical capability, and cross-functional collaboration to support efficient procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with Nestlé’s competitive bidding and procurement policies.
Conduct supplier validation, including on-site visits, before onboarding and recommendation to Strategic Buyers.
Deliver targeted cost savings of 5% on addressable spend through effective sourcing strategies.
Manage procurement requests (PRs) ranging from PKR 100,001 to 1,000,000, ensuring timely handover to Operational Buyers for PO conversion.
Identify sourcing opportunities such as consolidation and rationalization in collaboration with Strategic Buyers.
Monitor and improve supplier performance to ensure uninterrupted procurement operations.
Provide operational guidance and issue-resolution support to buyers and internal stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and reliable procurement data in systems (material groups, delivery dates, payment terms, and descriptions).
Follow up with vendors on operational matters and escalate issues where necessary.
Allocate procurement requests to Operational Buyers and Strategic Buyers based on agreed allocation criteria.

What Will Make You Successful

2–3 years of proven experience delivering competitive advantage through effective sourcing strategy implementation.
Demonstrated ability to lead and execute procurement or sourcing projects successfully.
Strong expertise in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, risk management, responsible sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
Proven negotiation skills within cross-functional and cross-market teams.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
