Deputy Director Finance – Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Multan

DHA Multan is seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Deputy Director Finance to oversee and strengthen the organization’s financial operations. The role is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, compliance, taxation, and performance reporting to ensure robust financial controls, transparency, and long-term sustainability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end financial operations including receipts, payments, budgeting, fund management, and compliance.

• Review, verify, and approve high-value financial transactions in accordance with DHA policies and procedures.

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and risk management to support informed decision-making and organizational sustainability.

• Drive process improvements through the implementation of modern financial systems, digital tools, and automation to enhance efficiency and internal controls.

• Supervise tax management activities, ensuring timely filing, statutory compliance, and optimization of tax exposure.

• Ensure preparation and finalization of financial statements and maintain audit readiness at all times.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely completion and closure of audits.

• Prepare financial performance analyses, MIS reports, and management dashboards for strategic decision support.

• Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities on financial, legal, and compliance matters.

• Contribute to policy development, internal control enhancement, and strategic financial initiatives of DHA Multan.

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements

• CA / ICMA / ACCA qualified.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the real estate or housing sector.

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, taxation, and internal controls.

• Excellent analytical, coordination, and reporting skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with senior management and stakeholders.
