We are seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Officer – Field Crops to drive sales growth, demand generation, and channel development within the assigned territory. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on field execution, and effective stakeholder engagement to achieve business targets.

Deliver assigned sales budgets with effective monthly phasing.
Ensure month-on-month forecast accuracy of 80% or above.
Execute demand generation activities including Field Meetings (FM), Field Demonstrations (FD), and Product Demos, ensuring timely liquidation of inventory.
Drive revenue growth through structured demand generation initiatives within the assigned territory.
Lead, train, and manage Field Officers, including action planning, on-the-job coaching, and follow-up on field execution.
Manage sales channels by setting targets, conducting monthly business review meetings, motivating partners, and onboarding new dealers/BSAs where required.
Monitor and report on market trends, competitive activities, and customer insights in the assigned area.
Develop and promote New Product Introductions (NPI) through demonstrations and strong engagement with growers, channel partners, and Arhties (middlemen).
Execute sales campaigns and company sales policies effectively.
Optimize resource allocation, including field officer placement and channel establishment.
Support geographical expansion through focused field activities and channel growth.
Manage stakeholder relationships including EIs, Arhties, sub-dealers, and value chain partners.
Track and monitor channel inventory, liquidation, and Planogram (POG) compliance.
Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently within the assigned territory.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional influencers such as lead growers, market yard vendors, value chain partners, and government/institutional stakeholders.
Ensure timely product placement and collections to achieve targeted Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, preferably Plant Breeding or Horticulture.
3–4 years of relevant experience in the seeds or agri-inputs industry.
MBA (Agri) will be considered an added advantage.
