The Officer Account Onboarding role at Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) is responsible for ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient account onboarding operations. The position plays a critical role in maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting branches, and ensuring a seamless customer and operational experience across physical and digital onboarding channels.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure strict compliance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) / Prudential Regulations

Handle daily operational activities related to account opening and onboarding
-
Create, review, and implement internal SOPs for smooth banking operations
-
Ensure complete understanding and implementation of Account Opening policies and documentation requirements
-
Review Corporate Account Opening documents and accounts received through the Digital Onboarding Portal
-
Maintain strong follow-up on issues reported via email and provide timely, accurate resolutions
-
Coordinate with MMBL branches and Head Office departments to ensure smooth operational handling
-
Correspond and follow up with internal and external stakeholders on operational matters
-
Maintain accurate and complete documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes
-
Provide backend operational support and effective solutions to branches
-
Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) related to account opening and account maintenance

Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Bank’s Operational Manuals and Products

Ensure high motivation, professionalism, and timely task completion

Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Manager

Performing additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager
Candidate Requirements

Minimum 1 year of relevant banking or account onboarding experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent presentation and documentation skills

Sound knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a reputable institution

Ability to work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
