About the Role

A General Banking Officer at Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) ensures efficient customer service and handles various branch-level banking operations. This role involves account management, handling customer queries, performing non-financial transactions accurately, assisting in administrative tasks, and maintaining compliance with banking regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service and support branch operations in line with service and quality standards.

• Manage all operations segments including account opening/closing, stop payments, SOA issuance, loan account management, deceased marking/removal, level migrations, and gold loan assessments.

• Prepare deceased customer case refunds and maintain accurate records.

• Perform all types of non-financial transactions accurately per SOPs.

• Guide walk-in customers and cross-sell bank products.

• Maintain and reconcile branch fixed assets and security stationary.

• Provide administrative support, manage registers, sundry/suspense accounts, and upload relevant documents.

• Process cash deposits, withdrawals, clearing instruments, and maintain cash-related reports with accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with SBP cash handling regulations and internal SOPs.

• Address customer complaints promptly, providing appropriate solutions within TAT.

• Assist as backup Teller and ensure proper handling of keys, stamps, and branch security.

• Execute any other responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution in a relevant field.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in banking operations.
