Position Overview

Nestlé is seeking a dynamic Sales Promotion Manager for the Centre Zone to drive trade marketing initiatives, implement the Cycle Plan agenda, and ensure effective POP controls. This role supports sustainable business growth through strong shopper and customer engagement, flawless execution of launches, and efficient management of promotional activities across the Zone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead shopper and customer engagement initiatives to strengthen brand presence across geographies and channels.

  • Execute new product launches effectively and establish them as pillars for future growth.

  • Communicate and implement monthly Cycle Plan activities with the sales team.

  • Ensure timely adherence to the Merchandising Calendar and POP control procedures.

  • Manage zonal sales promotion and merchandising teams, maintaining discipline, punctuality, and performance records.

  • Monitor POSM inventory, minimize ageing, and ensure timely deployment.

  • Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and sales promotion reports to CPM monthly.

  • Organize and manage all promotional events including town storming, conferences, fairs, roadshows, ensuring proper documentation.

  • Implement continuous improvement projects for systems and processes.

  • Oversee chiller trade asset control, company assets (sampling vans, booths, vending machines, gondolas, wire stands), and reconcile cash/stock transactions monthly.

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, principles, and SOPs.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (preferably in Business Administration) from an HEC-recognized institution.

  • 5+ years of experience in category management, channel or field sales, brand or trade marketing, with experience leading teams across multiple regions/areas.

  • Strong understanding of customers and the selling process.

  • Proven ability to motivate, develop, and lead people.

  • Excellent commercial acumen and analytical skills.

  • Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
