Sales Officer – Bestway Cement Limited

Department: Sales & Dispatch

Position Purpose

The Sales Officer will provide effective sales coordination, back-office, and operational support to the sales team, ensuring smooth order processing, accurate reporting, and efficient coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily sales bookings in the ERP system.

• Compile and process weekly credit bookings in line with company policies.

• Generate and share daily pending balances reports with the sales team.

• Update and manage pricing/rate changes for project and institutional customers in the ERP system.

• Coordinate closely with the Dispatch In-Charge to ensure smooth and timely dealer dispatch operations.

• Handle customer and dealer queries related to ledgers and account statements, ensuring prompt resolution.

• Liaise with banks to address queries related to booking slips and financial documentation.

• Issue customer codes for newly onboarded clients.

• Prepare and circulate daily booking summaries after completion of ERP bookings.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, including Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (Graduate).

• 01 to 03 years of relevant experience in sales support, dispatch, or a similar role.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Understanding of business statistics and reporting.

• Strong coordination and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively across all levels within the regional sales team.

• Proven relationship-building skills with dealers and internal stakeholders.

• Strong cross-functional collaboration for smooth sales support operations.

• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.

• Office-based role with close coordination with Sales, Dispatch, and Finance teams.

• Fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and timely execution.
