Expert Corporate Accounting – Jazz Pakistan

About the Role

The Expert Corporate Accounting role is responsible for delivering end-to-end accounting support to Jazz’s commercial functions, ensuring all financial outcomes are accurately recorded in compliance with IFRS and Group Accounting Policies.

This position blends strong technical accounting expertise with business partnering, covering areas such as deal structuring, revenue recognition, CAPEX and lease assessments, and other judgment-based accounting matters related to telecom and digital products.

You will play a key role in the monthly close and reporting process, while proactively engaging with stakeholders to assess accounting implications at early stages. The role is part of a 9-member Corporate Accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the monthly financial close and reporting cycle, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery

• Oversee accounting activities across business units, subsidiaries, and legal entities in line with IFRS and group policies

• Act as the primary accounting advisor to commercial teams, assessing IFRS impacts including revenue recognition, CAPEX, and lease arrangements

• Prepare and review technical accounting memos to support management judgments, referencing relevant IFRS standards

• Collaborate closely with Service Operations teams to ensure efficient execution of financial processes

• Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements

• Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors on accounting matters

• Identify and drive opportunities for process automation, standardization, and control improvements

Requirements

• Preferred qualification: Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA / ICAEW)

• 4–6 years of relevant post-qualification experience

• Proven experience in technical accounting or accounting business partnering roles

• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex accounting concepts for non-finance stakeholders

• Sound business acumen with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
