Job Description

Department: Information Technology

Position Purpose

The Assistant Manager IT – Network Support will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure and network systems. The role ensures uninterrupted operations by resolving complex technical issues and supporting the implementation of new IT solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, operating systems, networks, printers, and scanners.

  • Monitor system and network performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a timely manner.

  • Maintain technical support procedures, documentation, and operational reports.

  • Analyze system logs and records to identify trends, risks, and potential issues.

  • Provide technical support during deployment and implementation of new systems, applications, and solutions.

  • Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access credentials; resolve login and password issues.

  • Manage and monitor the IT helpdesk/ticketing system to ensure prompt resolution of user requests.

  • Perform regular data backups and system restoration activities as required.

  • Maintain IT inventory and ensure accurate tracking of organizational IT assets.

  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on new systems and business support applications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective IT support and services.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute technical insights to improve service delivery.


Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 02 to 04 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure or technical support roles.


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, hardware, software, and enterprise applications.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues effectively.

  • Proficiency in IT support tools and ticketing/helpdesk systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams.

  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.


Preferred Certifications

  • CCNA

  • MCSE

  • Microsoft Azure Administrator
