Job Purpose

As a Territory Sales Manager – Key Accounts (North), you will lead sales execution in the assigned territory. You will manage relationships with distributors and order bookers, drive sales performance, and implement strategic sales initiatives to achieve goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Regional Key Account Managers (RKAMs) and Sales Support teams to shape and deploy route-to-market strategies.

  • Set daily and weekly sales targets for distributors and retailers within your territory, track performance, and take corrective action where needed.

  • Build strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers; address product or sales-related issues and liaise with internal teams for resolution.

  • Implement effective Payment Journey Plans (PJPs) and monitor territory performance against planned activities.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers — supporting issue resolution, ensuring timely product deliveries, and managing payment collections.

  • Conduct store visits to check inventory levels, product quality, and expiry compliance.

  • Identify new business prospects, and expand National Foods’ footprint in underserved markets using market insights.

  • Provide actionable feedback to RKAMs, QIRD, and Marketing teams on product performance, market trends, and competitive activity.

  • Track regional spend against budget and report variances.

  • Present sales performance updates and challenges during regular reviews with RKAMs.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor performance, and consumer behavior to inform sales approaches.

  • Prepare and submit routine sales and market reports for the assigned region.


Requirements

  • Education: Graduate (Bachelor’s degree).

  • Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in sales, distribution, or key accounts (preferred).
