Location: Port Qasim, Karachi
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing production activities within the weighing and packing area. The role ensures efficient utilization of resources while strictly adhering to plant policies, quality standards, and safety procedures to achieve operational excellence.
Plan, coordinate, and optimize manufacturing schedules, standard procedures, and resource allocation in close collaboration with the Production Lead, ensuring alignment with overall production objectives.
Own and drive production output, material flow, and inventory performance for assigned production lines, focusing on cost efficiency, quality improvement, and operational effectiveness.
Proactively manage workforce deployment to meet production targets while coaching and mentoring team members to enhance skills and performance.
Monitor and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly production performance against defined KPIs, initiating corrective actions and recommending improvements to planning processes.
Act as a coordination point between Production and QHSE teams to address raw material and finished goods quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement waste reduction initiatives.
Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities, reducing unplanned downtime and improving equipment reliability.
Investigate recurring equipment issues and independently lead root cause analysis to support long-term reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of production reports, quality documentation, wastage records, and equipment history logs, while supporting internal and external audits.
Ensure full compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO, and other applicable standards, and lead periodic reviews and updates of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Serve as the focal point for Health & Safety within the assigned area by identifying risks and ensuring effective implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
Promote best-in-class manufacturing practices and identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement, providing actionable insights to management.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or engineering discipline.
3–5 years of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
