Job Purpose

The Assistant Technical Innovation Manager – Fiber will support the development and implementation of innovation and renovation strategies focused on cost optimization, continuous improvement, and complexity reduction. The role involves evaluating new technologies, improving existing product portfolios, and driving sustainable fiber-based packaging solutions to maintain market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovation and renovation initiatives aimed at cost reduction, process optimization, and product enhancement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and group companies to strengthen existing and new product portfolios.

• Manage and evaluate project feasibility across the innovation pipeline, including costing, technical capability, and capital investment analysis.

• Ensure timely execution of approved projects within agreed budgets and timelines.

• Identify and evaluate emerging trends, technologies, and sustainable product solutions to support strategic decision-making and Go-To-Market initiatives.

• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency and product performance.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).

• 5–6 years of relevant experience in paperboard or corrugated packaging.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Proven capability in technical evaluation and innovation management.
