Specialist / Expert NOC Transport – Jazz Pakistan

About the Role

The Specialist/Expert NOC Transport is responsible for monitoring and managing the transport network, covering Microwave, Optical, IP, Enterprise, and FTTH customers in a 24×7 operational environment. This role reports directly to the Manager NOC Transport & Network Analytics and is part of a dynamic team of 15 professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with Huawei and Ericsson MW, Optical & IP nodes.

• Escalate and follow up for early resolution of persistent analytical issues, including cross-domain analysis (RAN/TXN/IP/Core/Enterprise/FTTH) in line with SLAs.

• Data reconciliation and enrichment for TXN (MW + Optical)/IP reports, both existing and newly developed, using Tableau for analytics.

• Conduct proactive analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation for recurring network outages.

• Provide L1 network support to nationwide operational field teams.

• Manage nationwide Transport Network change and rollout activities.

• Identify network faults and ensure resolution through follow-ups with relevant teams.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in telecommunications or network operations.

• BS in Electrical, Telecommunications, or Electronics Engineering.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; IP certifications such as CCNA or HCNA are an advantage.

• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to promote the department and technology portfolio effectively.

• A team player with a balanced, holistic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
